|What a long strange trip...

What a long strange trip this week has been. Always enjoy work more when I put in 50 hours in and I still have 4 more to go today. Plus I get the pleasure of seeing these people tomorrow night for our annual awards banquet and then get the extreme pleasure of working on Sunday. Some days it is just better to stay in bed.|
They are wanting to roll out a new sales incentive for the RSAs by February 29th. The fun part of it is, that John and I have to rebuild everything again. The prior data doesnt contain everything we need. But we are getting smarter. We are building tables to store all the data from the various sources. of course the sources that we are pulling the data from are from the dinosaur age. and the company does not want to spend the money to upgrade the systems.
Other than work, the week has been rather uneventful. considering I've been working alot, I havent had much time to do anything else.
Class on Wednesday wasnt too bad. This week she told us that the meaning of life is empty and meaningless. Talk about killing people's hopes
But she did have a point. As human beings, we put meaning on everything based on our past experiences. If we didnt put meaning on everything, what would be be left with, but a world that is meaningless. really made you think about it.
Well, lunch time is over and I need to get back to this damn project.
