sitting here at work, trying to focus on what I'm supposed to be doing, but not really in the mood to be here. |
I just want my shoulder and back to quit hurting. Last night, Dad and I were playing frisbee golf and clumsy me, planted my foot wrong on a slope while throwing and ended up sliding down the hill a few yards. scraped my elbow, but jammed my shoulder trying to catch myself and landed on my back. I've taken enough alleve between last night and today to last the rest of the week, but it is the only thing that seems to work.
Watched American Idol last night. The group this year seems to be lacking something. not sure what it is. There are a few standout performers: La Toya, Fantasia, Diana. Amy Adams had a great night last night. Jon Peter Lewis reminds me of one of the hobbits is LOTR. John Stevens needs to break out of the Sinatra mode, its getting old--quick. Matt Rogers is nice to look at and has a great personality, but I dont think he has the voice to be the American Idol and he'll be gone soon.
My predictions for the bottom three tonight: John Stevens, Camille Velasco, Matt Rogers. Matt wont be gone because of his personality. John Stevens wont be because he is different, even though he forgot the words of his song last night (note: did anyone notice how the judges and Seacrest kept mentioning that fact?) Camille was just too nervous and I dont see her moving on.
anyways, I guess I should head back to work
