Looks like Dad will be teaching a training class in Downey, CA in September. I'm going to fly out that Thursday and we are going to spend a few days in the Los Angeles area. Question: Where is a good area to stay? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i lived in Downey when i was in the Army about 1988-91. Not sure if there are any good places to stay there nowadays, but you'll probably want to be closer to the Hollywood area anyway. Have a great trip!
