|Call me Stupid

One of the things that I learned in my Breakthrough Leadership class was the need for me to be more outspoken (the possibility of self-expression)|
Reading the articles today about George Bush supporting a constitutional amendment declaring marriage to be between a man and a woman pissed me off. and I decided to vent.
My Father and I have never seen eye-to-eye on politics. He is a strong supporter of the Republican party and tends to only vote Republican when it comes to election time. Since he has always been active in politics, my mother and sisters and families are brainwashed that they too must vote Republican. anyone else is consider to be "evil" So what do I do today, I sent an email to them asking them how they could vote for someone like Bush and explained my views to them on gay marriage.
now, let me say this, I am not out to my family. well, let me re-phrase that. I have never told my family "I am Gay" But considering I have not had a girl-friend since I was 19, they should have a clue.
but anyways, it will be interesting to see what kind of reaction I get back from them. I tend to be more vocal with them this election year.
gotta love it
