Meeting Day from Hell

Today is going to be a long day at the office. I had to be at work at 6am to get a project done by 8am, then head to a meeting at our corporate office. That meeting lasted until 10:30am, after a stop at Starbucks in Oaklawn, I made it back to work, just in time, for my boss to ask me to run some numbers for him that he needed by noon. Right now, I'm taking a short break, eating the lunch I brought.
The rest of my day looks like this
1 - 1:30pm - meeting
2 - 2:30pm - meeting
4 - 6:00pm - meeting
Hopefully the 4pm meeting will get out earlier, cause I need to stop and pick up dinner at Thai-rrific on the way home. LBJ will be a parking lot, no matter what time I leave, but at least I'll be out of work.

Dad and I decided that if/when we decide to eat out, we were going to make good use of the Entertainment book and try a few new places. Last night, we ate at the Bavarian Grill in Plano. Great German food at a reasonable price. Beer was a little on the high side at $6.50 a mug.

The German food and beer probably accounted for my strange dream last night.
In my dream, my life sucked even more than it does now. I basically screwed everything up in my dream. The last part of my dream involved a group of people waiting in line for a scuba diving class. Dad and I got separated, so when it came time for the instructor to assign scuba partners, I got stuck with Rob, a guy from work that I absolutely cannot stand. While we were waiting, I approached Dad and he handed me a plate of food, which I promptly dropped all over him. Needlesstosay, he wasnt happy, and we ended up arguing. In normal fashion, I walked away while he was yelling at me. He followed me and asked what was wrong. I started going into how my life sucked. While I was doing that, the boat that we were supposed to be on took off, meaning we werent going to be able to go scuba diving. That just set me off into another rant about my life. He put his arms around me saying that everything will be ok and to remember that this was just a dream, not reality. All at once, things started to get better for me in my dream. Dad said, "See what I mean? I'll always be here to make sure things get better for you". I hugged him, gave him a kiss, and together we walked onto another boat taking another group scuba diving.

and thats when the alarm went off
