First Post of the Year

My New Year's Eve was rather uneventful as I was home alone. But honestly, I was ok with that. Dad called earlier in the evening from MN to say that he decided to stay at his mother's in Hartland, instead of driving to northern Minneapolis to attend a party at a friend's place.
My evening was spent watching Football (Giants vs Raiders), chatting on Bear411, and cleaning up around the house a bit. Oh, and drinking a six-pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade.
The free time also gave me time to look back on the past year. There were definitely more good times than bad times. Met some great people, made amends with others, and determined with a few that it would be best if we parted ways.

As 2006 starts, I see this year as of possibilities and opportunities. Both are endless, but there are 4 things that I need to focus on. My health, My relationship, My home, and My Career. Now that I am officially unemployed, I have the time to work on all 4.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year.
