Work has been sort of hectic the past few days. I finished my test scripts for QA so that they can verify the accuracy of the reports. At least I thought I had. Today, QA informs me that I need to "spell-out" everything because the auditors will not accept links to instructions on how to do things. I had linked instructions on booking a reservation, changing a reservation and canceling a reservation to our training departments database. That way is something were to change, I would not need to go back and re-do 20 pages of test scripts. So much for me trying to think. So now I'm sitting here typing everything out and putting that into the script as well.
For some strange reason, our pool decided that it was going to leak water. Funny thing is, a few weeks ago, the pool wasnt losing water. Verizon came in and did some work along the alley way and now the pool is leaking water. But there are no pipes where they were digging. I had a repair guy out yesterday to look at it and he said that they might have moved the ground enough to break the seal on one of the pipes. He ran a few tests and said that he was 80% sure that it was just the skimmer. Tonight when I get home from work, I'm supposed to see if the pool has lost any more water. If not, I write him a check for $75. If it is, he comes back out to do a pressure test to find the leak and give me an estimate on fixing the leak. Since I just spent money on replacing windows in the house, I have no cash for the pool right now. I'm hoping it can last a few months until I can save up enough to get it fixed.
Speaking of windows, here are some before and after pics of the front and back of the house.
Oh well, back to work. Tonight I think I may re-acquaint my self with Mr. Jim Beam
